Responsibilities

* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (40 hours per week, 30-minute lunch)

* Manage end-to-end delivery of reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) contracts

* Ensure all works meet agreed SLAs and KPIs, maintaining high service standards

* Oversee job allocation, progress, and completion using CAFM or job management systems

* Lead and coordinate engineers and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and quality

* Act as the main point of contact for clients, handling escalations and maintaining strong relationships

* Monitor costs, labour, and subcontractor spend to protect margins and ensure profitability

* Review and approve quotes, variations, and additional works

* Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, including RAMS and safe systems of work

* Maintain accurate records and support audit readiness across all contracts

* Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, efficiency, and cost control

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Operations Manager, or similar within facilities management

* Strong background in reactive maintenance and multi-trade environments

* Experience managing engineers and subcontractors across multiple sites

* Ability to work within SLA and KPI-driven environments

* Strong organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

* Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and margins

* Excellent communication and client-facing skills

* Confident using CAFM systems or job management platforms
