Job Type: Full-time, PermanentWe are seeking a QA Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operational leadership of QA Technicians, ensuring the effective execution of quality assurance activities across the site. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance with food safety and quality standards, contributing to audit readiness, and driving continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

Team Supervision and Task Execution: Provide daily oversight, coaching, and coordination for QA Technicians. Monitor task completion across all shifts to ensure consistent coverage and high-quality output.
Operational Quality Assurance Activities: Oversee execution of all shift-based QA checks, including audits, traceability exercises, and environmental monitoring. Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with site procedures.
Audit Readiness and Documentation: Maintain a constant state of audit readiness. Support the implementation of corrective actions and contribute to pre-audit preparations.
Training, Onboarding, and Capability Building: Lead the onboarding and technical training of new QA Technicians. Deliver ongoing training to support continuous skill development.
Issue Management and Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with various teams to resolve quality issues in real time. Identify areas for improvement and contribute to site-wide initiatives.
Supplier NCR and Complaint Handling Support: Manage the initial review and logging of supplier non-conformance reports. Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support investigations and track corrective actions.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in a quality assurance role within food manufacturing or a regulated production environment.
Previous experience supervising or coordinating shift-based teams is desirable.
Knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP, GMP, and BRC.
HACCP Level 2 and Food Safety Level 3 certifications, or willingness to obtain.
Effective communicator with strong coaching, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.Benefits:
