Work as a Teacher supporting pupils with SEMH needs

Must Have Skills

Qualified Teacher status (QTS or equivalent)
Experience working with children, ideally within an SEMH or SEND setting
Strong behaviour management skills in an SEMH environment
Calm, patient, and resilient approach as a Teacher
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Understanding of safeguarding within an SEMH setting
Ability to adapt lessons as a Teacher to meet diverse needs

Good to Have

Previous experience as a Teacher in an SEMH school
Knowledge of trauma-informed and de-escalation strategies
SEND experience within an SEMH environment
Team Teach or similar training
Driving licence and access to a vehicle
