HGV Driver - Manchester

Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour (Monday - Friday) | £22.50 per hour (Saturdays & Bank Holidays)
Hours: 48 hours per week, Monday - Saturday (between 06:00 - 18:00)
Contract: Permanent

Earning Potential (OTE)

Standard Rate: Up to £15.00 per hour.

Enhanced Rate: £22.50 per hour for Saturdays and Bank Holidays (time-and-a-half).

Basic Salary: Up to £37,440 per year (based on 48-hour week at standard rate).

Realistic OTE: Significantly higher with regular Saturday and Bank Holiday working.

Overview
We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused HGV Driver to join our team in Manchester. You'll be responsible for site-to-site and site-to-customer movements, ensuring safe and compliant operation at all times. Key Responsibilities

Safely and compliantly operate HGV vehicles for site-to-site and site-to-customer transfers.

Meet customer timelines and delivery requirements.

Ensure compliance with UK road safety and company policies.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety checks.

Maintain accurate delivery and fuel usage records.

Comply with all HGV driving laws and requirements.

Put customer service and teamwork at the heart of what you do.

What You'll Need

Class 1 HGV Licence is essential.

Drivers' CPC qualification.

Tacho card holder.

Clean driving licence.

Strong commitment to health, safety, and road safety.

A professional, reliable, and team-focused attitude.
