• Annual Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 (DOE)  (Temp to Perm or Straight Perm)

We are seeking a confident and independent Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team within a fast-growing business. This full-time, office-based role requires a proactive individual who can manage financial tasks independently and efficiently.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Invoice Management: Produce sales invoices, handle supplier invoices and payments, and resolve any invoice queries.
• Banking Tasks: Perform bank reconciliations and cash allocations, ensuring accuracy in all financial records.
• Payroll and Taxation: Manage payroll processes, VAT calculations, and submissions, ensuring compliance with current financial regulations.
• Credit Control: Oversee credit control processes to ensure timely payments and maintain cash flow.
• Reporting: Provide comprehensive financial reports to directors, aiding in strategic decision-making.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) regulations, including accurate allocation and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: AAT Studier preferred or relevant finance experience 
• Software Proficiency: Comprehensive experience with QuickBooks and an excellent understanding of Excel.
• Numeracy Skills: Exceptional numeracy skills for accurate financial management.
• Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
• Flexibility: A flexible approach to work, adapting to the dynamic needs of the business.
