Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Plumber/Heating Engineer to join our team on a social housing contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and heating systems in social housing properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing and heating systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances, in social housing properties.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and heating issues.

* Install, repair, and maintain heating systems, including radiators, and underfloor heating.

* Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and building codes.

* Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with residents and housing management.

* Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

* Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Plumber/Heating Engineer, preferably with experience in social housing.

* Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating).

* Strong knowledge of plumbing and heating systems.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with heating systems

* Knowledge of social housing regulations and requirements.

* Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls.
