Senior Quantity Surveyor

Linear Recruitment are currently partnering with a highly reputable 5* housebuilder in South Yorkshire for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Responsible for managing all commercial aspects across several schemes; the ideal candidate will have control of all costs relating to the management of sites, ensuring suppliers and subcontractors are procured correctly and on time.

Responsibilities

* Working with the Production Team to compile documentation for sub-contract enquiries

* Reviewing sub-contract tenders

* Attending sub-contractor pre-start meetings

* Contributing towards producing the information for Game Plan Live meetings

* Monitoring and reporting on sub-contractor and labour performance, and manage relevant payments

* Contributing to the completion of monthly CVRs, and produce forecasts, running cost and non-productive cost reports

* NHBC and plot services registrations

* Monitoring timings of infrastructure and Section 106 payments

Required skills and qualifications

* A degree in Quantity Surveying

* Experience within the housebuilding sector
