This organisation delivers high-quality adult learning programmes focused on improving employability, skills, and career progression — and now they're looking to grow their impact by securing new funding and contracts.

The Opportunity:

As a Bid Writer, you'll play a key role in shaping and securing successful bids across AEB, Skills Bootcamps, and wider adult learning opportunities. You'll collaborate with operational teams, subject matter experts, and leadership to write persuasive, well-researched tenders that align with the organisation's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research:

Monitor trends and funding opportunities within the Employability and Skills sector

*

Identify and assess new business development streams and partnership options

Bid Writing & Tender Development:

*

Write high-quality, tailored bids that highlight the organisation's strengths

*

Collaborate with internal teams to gather evidence, data, and success stories

*

Ensure bids are submitted on time and meet funder specifications

Stakeholder Engagement:

*

Build relationships with funding bodies, partners, and stakeholders

*

Work cross-functionally to ensure consistent, strategic messaging

Quality Assurance:

*

Review and refine all bid content for clarity, compliance, and impact

*

Incorporate feedback to continuously improve submissions and win rates

What You'll Bring:

Proven experience in bid writing within the adult education and employability sector

*

Strong knowledge of AEB, Skills Bootcamps, and other funding streams

*

A track record of successful funding wins

*

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*

The ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines with precision

*

A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive approach
