Parttime Housekeeper Phoenix House

Do you enjoy creating a clean environment for those who are less abled? You will be joining the team at the Phoenix House as an experienced Housekeeper, working alongside the maintenance team to ensure all areas of the facilities are spotless. You will be working 3 morning shifts per week at five hours long.

- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Ensuring all documentation relating to any housekeeping roles is completed and correct
- Regularly checking that all of the housekeeping duties are carried out to a high standard
- Being aware of Health and Safety, Fire and COSHH regulations that pertain to the safety of the unit and its patients
- Communicating appropriately with others
- Carrying out any reasonable instructions as requested

**You will:**

- Have experience of working within a care home/hospital environment
- Have COSHH training
- Have numeracy and literacy skills
- Have the ability to communicate and work as part of a team
- Be organised and able to work on own initiative
- Have a good knowledge of health and safety

In this role youll work at Phoenix House, a specialist mental health rehabilitation service for women designed to support service users in achieving their goals and enables progress through their care pathway towards independent living.

At Phoenix House you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, which includes a Consultant Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.

Our empathetic and understanding approach facilitates positive change and empowerment for women who may have a history of trauma, abuse, hearing voices, as well as those with ongoing challenging behavior.
