An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in Kent is seeking a committed English Teacher to join their dynamic faculty on a maternity cover contract. About the Role
You will deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons across KS3–KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for candidates with the relevant experience. The successful teacher will contribute to a department that values creativity, structured progression, and a calm, purposeful learning atmosphere.
Requirements
To be considered, you will need:
- QTS and the right to work in the UK
- Strong secondary experience, particularly across KS3–KS4
- Experience delivering KS5 content is highly desirable
- A proven ability to foster independent learning and high expectations
- Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning climate
- Passion for English language and literature and a desire to inspire young people
