Job Description: We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Littlehampton, West Sussex. As a key member of the logistics, procurement, distribution, and supply chain sector, you will be responsible for performing various warehouse duties to ensure the efficient operation of the facility.
Job Duties: - Receive and process incoming stock and materials
- Pick and pack orders for despatch
- Organise and maintain inventory and storage areas
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with stock takes and inventory checks
- Keep warehouse clean and organised
Required Qualifications: - Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: - GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
- Knowledge of warehouse operations
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Working Conditions: This is a temporary, full-time position with the potential for permanent hire . The role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with some lifting and physical tasks required.
