Reception/Year 1 Teacher – Leyland School

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception/Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Leyland for two terms starting January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a strong team ethos.

About the Role

• Teach a mixed Reception/Year 1 class of 28 pupils.
• Work alongside a highly skilled team: 3 staff in the mornings and 2 staff in the afternoons.
• Deliver engaging lessons that inspire and nurture young learners.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in EYFS/KS1.
• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to plan creative and differentiated lessons.
• A passion for early years education and child development.
