We are seeking a diligent and adept Management Accountant to contribute to our clients Accounting & Finance Department. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of the Manufacturing sector

Description

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Overseeing internal controls and auditing processes.
• Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• Analysing financial data and providing strategic recommendations.
• Ensuring compliance with the relevant regulatory bodies.
• Working closely with the financial team to optimise accounting processes and systems.
• Coordinating with the management to set financial objectives and strategies.
• Implementing and strengthening financial policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organised work approach.

This role is mostly office based so candidates must be able to be on site in Glasgow 4 days a week
