Accounts Assistant

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Accounts Assistant working for a well-known professional services business in Leeds City Centre. The business is going through a period of growth so would now like to welcome a new member of the team to aid in the account's aspects of a large contract they are currently servicing.

Reporting into the Head of Client Accounts, key duties of the Accounts Assistant will include:

• Posting income to the client property management system
• Posting and banking cheques
• Coding and posting purchase ledger invoices
• Liaising with supplier accounts departments over the phone and on email as required
• Reviewing financial records and correcting inconsistencies and coding errors
• Issuing tenant invoices via shared mailbox
• Responsibility for shared mailbox administration
• Dealing with tenant queries as required
• Assisting the Head of Client Accounts and Client Accounts Manager by preparing adhoc reports when required

To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates with the following:

• The ability to work under pressure and towards deadlines
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work to a high level of accuracy with an eye for detail
• A good team player with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels within the firm
• Duties are subject to change so a flexible approach to work would be beneficial
• Experience of working within an accounts setting (desirable)
• Practical experience of Office 365 products

In return, the successful candidate will receive the following:

£22,000 - £24,000

25 days holidays
