As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in both financial control and commercial insight. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the monthly management reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Preparing and managing budgets and forecasts, working closely with operational and commercial teams.
• Delivering variance analysis and performance commentary to senior stakeholders.
• Providing commercial insights to support strategic decision-making and drive profitability.
• Partnering with cross functional teams to understand cost drivers and identify opportunities for efficiency.
• Supporting year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements.
• Driving continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Person Specification

We’re looking for a proactive and detail oriented finance professional who can combine strong technical skills with commercial acumen.

Essential:

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
• Proven experience in a finance role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong understanding of management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present insights clearly.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships across the business.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Experience of managing a small team
