As a Car Technician / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician you will:

* Performing major and minor repairs

* Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services

* Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust

* Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.

* Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired

* Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.

* Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting

* Complete customer documentation while working to agreed time scales

To be considered for our Car Technician / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician vacancy:

* You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification)

* Experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs

* Ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards

* Current, full UK driving license

* Precision in diagnosing issues and conducting repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.

Hours for our Car Technician / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician role: Monday to Friday 8.00 - 5.00 1 in 3 Saturday mornings paid @ overtime 8.00 - 1.00.
