Accounts Assistant

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant with a strong transactional background looking to take ownership and grow within a dynamic, multi-entity environment? We are recruiting on behalf of our client - a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Leicester - for a confident and proactive Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.

This is a varied and hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of transactional finance, particularly Sales Ledger, with exposure across multiple trading companies and rental entities.

Key Responsibilities:

Full ownership of the Sales Ledger for 3 trading companies
Light-touch credit control (experience not essential)
Support accounts for a rental portfolio of 10 small entities (Sales Ledger, Purchased Ledger, bank reconciliations)
Inter-company transactions and reconciliations
Credit card receipt management and reconciliations
General accounts support across the group as needed
What the role involves

Strong transactional finance experience (Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant level)
Experience working across multiple entities and inter-company transactions desirable
Proficiency with QuickBooks or Xero
Good Excel skills - comfortable with analysis and reconciliation
Solid IT literacy and confidence working across various systems
Highly organised, with attention to detail and an all-rounder attitude
