The Role - Manual Grinder

My client, a leading manufacture specialising in the aerospace and defence industry, is currently seeking a talented Manual Grinder to join their team.

As a Manual Grinder you'll be responsible for operating and setting manual Studer machines to produce parts to extremely tight tolerances. 

You'll be joining a great team within a vibrant employment sector.

Duties - Manual Grinder

Operate and set Manual Studer machines and CNC machines
Grind and machine exotic and hardened materials with precision.
Perform first-off inspections and complete relevant quality documentation.
Carry out manual land grinding to tight tolerances.
Set up and run multiple machines and processes.
If trained, occasionally support CNC grinding machines.

Background - Manual Grinder

A recognised engineering apprenticeship.
Manual grinding experience required.
Good knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling.
Attention to detail and accuracy and process improvement.
