This is a fantastic opportunity for both Primary and Secondary trained teachers, with positions available across both phases within the same setting.This role is ideal for teachers currently in mainstream education who are considering a move into SEND. If you're looking for smaller class sizes, reduced marking and planning workload, and the chance to make a genuinely meaningful impact on young people's lives, this could be the perfect next step.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

  • Support students with varying needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff
  • Monitor and track student progress, adapting approaches where necessary
  • Build strong relationships with pupils to support both academic and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND (in either a specialist or mainstream setting) is highly desirable
  • Open to teachers transitioning from mainstream education into SEND
  • Patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Strong classroom management and adaptability
