Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are currently recruiting for a nationally recognised, long-standing and successful business based in Walsall! We are looking for a confident Purchase Ledger Clerk, with at least 1 year or working experience in Purchase Ledger and looking to further their career within Purchase Ledger. Ideally, the successful candidate will hit the ground running with elements of this end-to-end role! The team are established and welcoming, they’re hoping for a likeminded person to join them long-term and they are happy to provide any necessary training for the right candidate!
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Match and process invoices with their matching receipts and obtain the required authorisation for invoice clearance
- Support with and resolve supplier queries, working effectively with stakeholders and other departments
- Complete supplier statement reconciliations
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs
Ideally, You Will:
- Be a detail orientated individual that is proactive and organised, in order to work effectively in this fast-paced environment!
- Be a confident and clear communicator, we are looking for a candidate that can work effectively with internal and external stakeholders!
- Must have at least 1 year of working experience in Purchase Ledger in order to hit the ground running with the role!
- Ideally, you will have previous experience with Sage 50 or Sage 200
