Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who services the oil and gas industry and looking for a Skilled Labourer to add to their team on a 1-year fixed term contract. You’ll be based in the Laurencekirk area.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 7am – 3pm, Friday 7am – 1pm

Hourly Rate: £13.10

Daily Duties –

• Perform workshop job processes including sawing, swage and stress relieve, bead blasting, phosphating, and general labouring duties
• Move tubulars inside workshop with overhead crane
• Carry out daily and weekly checks on all equipment as per procedures
• Sign off route cards when tasks have been completed and inspected
• General housekeeping duties e.g. bead media and phosphate solution levels are maintained, gauges are cleaned before returning to gauge room, clean machine at end of shift

Candidate Requirements –

• Standard Grades or equivalent transferable experience and skills
• Previous experience of Bead Blasting, Phosphating, Swaging, Stress Relieving, and Sawing
• Gantry Crane Training
• Full UK Driving Licence
