Carpenter / Fire Door Joiner (Temp-to-Perm)

The Opportunity
We are seeking skilled Carpenter Multis and Fire Door Specialists to join a leading maintenance team in Birmingham. This is a temp-to-perm position, offering immediate weekly pay with the long-term security of a permanent contract after a successful trial period.

The Roles
We have two streams available depending on your expertise:

* Carpenter Multi: Carrying out reactive maintenance and planned repairs. You should be comfortable with "multi-trade" tasks such as basic tiling, plastering patches, and plumbing alongside core carpentry work.

* Fire Door Specialist: Focussed on the installation, remediation, and maintenance of fire door sets. You will ensure all work meets current safety regulations and compliance standards.

What You'll Need

* Trade Qualified: NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry or equivalent experience.

* Fire Door Knowledge: For specialist roles, experience with BM TRADA, FIRAS, or similar fire safety standards is highly desirable.

* Domestic Experience: Proven track record in social housing or domestic maintenance environments.

* Essentials: Full UK Driving Licence.
