Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Erdington, West Midlands

Academics are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant post-16 college in Erdington. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) as they progress through their education. This is a full time position starting immediately!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEND
Assist with the implementation of individual learning plans
Support students to develop independence and confidence in their learning
Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt learning materials and strategies
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the learning support teamRequirements:

Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting children and/or adults with SEND
Understanding of different special educational needs and appropriate support strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexibly within a busy educational environment
A positive, patient, and proactive approach
