Job Title: Maintenance Assistant
Pay Rate: £34,000 - 36,000
Location: Mark, Somerset
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm (includes 5 hours regular overtime)
Occasional additional overtime required for essential maintenance

We're looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join an established company in Mark, Somerset. This is a hands-on, varied role working across planned and reactive maintenance on automated production lines, woodworking machinery, forklifts, fleet vehicles, and general property maintenance. If you're a practical, multi-skilled individual who enjoys problem-solving and working in a team, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and repair automated production lines and woodworking equipment
Carry out routine and emergency repairs on forklifts and fleet vehicles
Support general property and site maintenance
 What We're Looking For

A team player with good communication skills
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
Electrical experience would be an advantage and knowledge on pneumatics and hydraulics.
Experience in maintaining manufacturing lines is a plus
Strong awareness of Health & Safety and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
