We are currently seeking a skilled Carpentry Lecturer to deliver Levels 2 and 3 courses at a Further Education college. This temporary role offers the potential for a permanent position in the next academic year. Applicants must have specific FE sector experience and hold a current DBS clearance.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver educational content for Levels 2 and 3 Carpentry courses.
• Ensure all teaching is conducted to a high standard, adhering to curriculum and safety regulations.
• Engage and motivate students through practical and theoretical carpentry tasks.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.
• Monitor and report on student progress, addressing any issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven teaching experience in Carpentry at Levels 2 and 3.
• Specific experience within the Further Education sector.
• Strong understanding of educational and construction safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a teaching team.
• Must possess a current DBS check.
