People / L&D Manager - Exeter (with travel) - £35-40k - Full time and permanent
Well Placed HR are delighted to be working with a highly regarded and values-led organisation, to recruit a People Manager with a focus on Learning & Development. This is a varied and visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver impactful learning initiatives across the organisation. This is a role that will suit someone who enjoys both strategic input and hands-on delivery, with the opportunity to make a real impact.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing and delivering engaging learning & development programmes aligned to business objectives
- Assessing organisational training needs and implementing tailored solutions
- Facilitating workshops, training sessions and development initiatives (both face-to-face and virtual)
- Evaluating the effectiveness of learning programmes and continuously improve delivery
- Supporting wider HR activity, providing generalist HR support where required
- Collaborating with senior leaders to embed a strong learning culture across the business
- Managing learning resources, CPD activity and e-learning platforms
You will be a confident and engaging HR professional with a passion for developing people and driving performance through learning. You’ll bring a pro-active and collaborative approach, coupled with the ability to build strong relationships across the business. You will ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards), alongside solid generalist HR experience. Previous exposure to designing and delivering L&D initiatives is highly desirable, as is the ability to analyse training needs and measure outcomes effectively. Strong communication skills, organisational ability and a genuine enthusiasm for people development are key.
