About the Role:

An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school near Winslow is seeking a talented and committed Science Teacher to join their well-resourced Science department from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring educator to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially KS5, depending on experience and departmental needs. You will play a key role in shaping students' understanding of scientific principles while fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL
Promote a practical and inquiry-based approach to science using experiments, demonstrations, and digital resources
Track and assess pupil progress using formative and summative methods
Provide targeted support and interventions to help students reach their full potential
Contribute to the development of departmental schemes of work and assessments
Participate in whole-school CPD, events, and enrichment opportunities
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a science-related discipline
Excellent subject knowledge and up-to-date understanding of the science curriculum
Strong classroom presence with the ability to inspire and engage students
Effective behaviour management and a proactive attitude towards supporting student progress
Commitment to high standards, professional development, and collaboration
