Responsibilities

The role will support the commercial team in the delivery of commercial HVAC projects, which should be commercially driven to maximize revenue, lend credibility to our sales proposition and drive quality standards in the execution of everything the company does.

Working with field-based sales teams and the internal engineering team, the project supervisor will assist in delivering an engineered solution based on the demand from each individual project. This could be heating delivered by commercial boilers (100kW to 2000kW) or portable heaters and cooling delivered by air cooled chillers (5kW to1000kW) or portable air conditioning.

The job is a predominantly based at our office in Andover, client and supplier visits will be required in line with demand.

Primary Objectives

* Technical site and customer management

* Assist field-based teams in the delivery of HVAC projects

* Attend site surveys and assist the sales team with technical design of temporary solution focusing on Chillers and Cooling systems

* Provide technical and practical support to engineers

* Quoting works giving detailed RAMS documents for clients and the sales team

* Develop team building ethos and lead by example

* Encourage effective communication between management, office-based staff and on-site engineers/sales team

* Liaison between sales team and Technical team ensuring smooth transition of RAMs and quotes

* Support production of job by job RAMS documentation to ensure high standard of delivery and health and safety standards

* Support technical standards and operational policies across every element of the business; from site survey to off hire

* Planning and management of specific installation projects

Other Responsibilities

Manage, triage and despatch engineers to breakdown calls (when breakdown Technical supervisor absent)

Skills & Capabilities

* NVQ 3 in relevant M&E discipline (or equivalent)

* Recognized Health and Safety training

* Proven track record delivering high levels of customer satisfaction

* Good practical and working knowledge of commercial heating / cooling systems

* Good knowledge of quality assurance systems

* Excellent people management skills

* IT literate with packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel

* Full driving licence

* Gas qualification and experience

* F Gas experience
