Project Planner

Premier Recruitment Solutions Ltd is a specialist recruitment company working on behalf of a leading contractor in the industrial construction sector to find an experienced Project Planner to join their Birmingham-based team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality industrial new build projects across the UK, while working from a collaborative, supportive office environment.

The Role

You'll take ownership of planning and scheduling across a range of industrial new build schemes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

The role is based in the client's Birmingham office full-time (5 days/week), with occasional site visits required, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and monitor project programmes using Asta Powerproject.
Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to keep projects on track.
Identify risks, delays, and critical path issues, proposing solutions where needed.
Attend site occasionally to liaise with teams and review progress.
Produce and present regular programme updates and progress reports.

Essential:

Proficient in Asta Powerproject.
Demonstrable experience in planning/scheduling within the construction industry.
Full UK driving licence, and willingness to travel to sites as required.
Strong understanding of construction processes and project sequencing.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
