We are seeking a caring and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school in Ashford that truly values each child's individuality and potential. In this role, you'll work closely with pupils who face a range of challenges including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, or behavioural needs.

What you'll be doing:

Providing personalised support to children in 1:1 and small group settings

Helping pupils feel safe, confident, and included throughout the school day

Collaborating with teachers and the SEN team to adapt learning activities

Assisting with behaviour management using patience and understanding

Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and independence wherever possible

What we're looking for:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school or similar settings)

A calm, positive attitude and ability to stay patient in challenging situations

Confidence in managing diverse needs and behaviours with empathy

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)

Enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one

Commitment to working full-time, Monday to Friday, during term time
