You will own end-to-end delivery from raw materials through fabrication, assembly, quality, warehousing, and dispatch.This role is hands-on and will strengthen our product engineering support to production-improving manufacturability, resolving build issues, and raising the technical standard across the business.Key Responsibilities

• To own and drive the development of new products as well as improvements to the current product range
• Work across the full lifecycle of product design from concept, design, build and installation, followed by in-the-field support
• Support prototype builds and first-off production on the shop floor
• To generate detailed 2D & 3D models, drawings and BOMs for manufacturing using CAD software, managing the creation/modification of parts for all technical drawings
• Proficient at creating 3D renders for product visualisation
• Create/maintain manufacturing documentation (work instructions, routings, critical-to-quality features)
• Support the development of new production methods and update production drawings
• Investigate and carry out fault-finding across our production processes

The person:

• A strong knowledge of engineering best practice
• A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline with 3 years plus related design /development work experience
