Overview

First Recruitment Services are looking for a friendly, proactive Receptionist to support a client with their busy front‑of‑house environment. This is a temporary, flexible role ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, keeping things organised, and jumping in wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

* Meet and greet visitors, clients, and staff in a warm, professional manner

* Manage the reception area, ensuring it remains tidy and welcoming

* Answer incoming calls and direct queries appropriately

* Prepare refreshments, including tea and coffee, for visitors and meetings

* Handle basic administrative tasks and email monitoring

* Support the wider team with ad‑hoc duties as required

* Provide weekend cover when scheduled

Skills & Experience

* Previous reception or customer‑facing experience is desirable

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Confident, approachable, and able to work independently

* Good organisational skills and attention to detail

* Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment

* Reliable and flexible with availability, including weekends
