I C Talent is currently recruiting Secondary Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Peterborough and surrounding areas. The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into secondary school classrooms (ages 11–16/18) in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a focused environment. You will deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects, manage behaviour, and support students in completing their work.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will gain experience across different subjects, year groups, and school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise whole classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5)
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across multiple subjects
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students with their learning and engagement
• Provide feedback to teaching staff where required

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work, tutoring, etc.)
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
