About the Role

As a Press Toolmaker, you'll play a key role in the manufacture, maintenance, and development of high-quality press tools to exacting standards. You'll work from technical drawings to produce new tooling and ensure existing tools perform optimally for production efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

* Manufacture, assemble, and maintain press tools, jigs, and fixtures

* Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances

* Operate a range of manual and CNC machinery (e.g., milling, grinding, turning, EDM)

* Diagnose and repair tooling issues to minimize downtime

* Collaborate with design and production teams to improve tooling performance

* Ensure all work meets health & safety and quality standards

About You

* Preferably Time-served Toolmaker or equivalent but will consider candidates based on level of experience

* Strong background in press tools (progressive, single-stage, or transfer tools)

* Competent with precision measuring instruments and toolroom machinery

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

* Team-oriented but capable of working independently
