The Role


As a Legal Assistant, you will provide vital administrative support to the Partner, helping them to focus on more technical and complex matters. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting legal documents (with appropriate guidance).
  • Preparing files for billing and completion.
  • Managing incoming calls and prioritising emails and messages.
  • Providing efficient administrative support to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Liaising with clients and external parties to ensure smooth progress on transactions.
  • Familiarity with legal standards such as LEXCEL and Solicitors Accounts Rules.
The Ideal Candidate


The successful candidate will:

  • Have legal work experience (paralegal experience would be an advantage).
  • Be capable of drafting legal documents (with guidance).
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be organised, proactive, and able to handle a varied workload.
  • Have great attention to detail and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
  • A background in property law or previous experience in a property legal team is desirable but not essential.
