Multi-Skilled Engineering Team Leader - Bristol

We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineering Team Leader to take charge of a rotating shift team at our clients Bristol site. If you're passionate about engineering, thrive in fast-paced environments, and have strong leadership skills—this could be your next career move.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, support, and develop a team of engineers across shift patterns.

* Own technical problem-solving during the shift—identify, correct, and prevent equipment failures.

* Work closely with production during start-up and shutdowns.

* Ensure engineering standards meet food safety, hygiene, and audit readiness requirements.

* Manage job logging, reporting, and parts tracking.

* Attend daily handovers and provide shift reports.

* Help assess and close skills gaps within the team.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* A recognised qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering.

* Strong working knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems (FMCG/chilled food experience ideal).

* A collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.

* Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and communication skills.

* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts based on operational needs
