Hardware Field Service Engineer - Laptops/Desktops/Servers
THE OPPORTUNITY: Our Onsite Hardware Field Service Engineers are performing residential and commercial hardware break-fix work on Laptops, Desktops and Servers. The products are typically under manufacturer warranty, or are covered with an extended warranty.
The work is assigned daily and will vary day to day and week to week. There are both basic and advanced work orders. Depending on the assignment, work orders need to be completed same day or next business day. The typical work availability requirement is 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday. On rare occasions, advanced work orders may come in after 6pm or weekends. While they do not all have to be addressed in a 4-hour window, the technician does need to follow-up with the customer within a designated time frame, so the customer is advised as to when the work will be completed.
We provide the required DELL warranty manufacturer certifications for this position. There is no cost to you to certify. The Field Service Hardware Engineer will be providing service to multiple customers each day. Our Field Services division provides residential and commercial PC, Laptop and Server warranty repair services on DELL (OEM) products.
