Responsible for end-to-end management of a complex portfolio of programmes designed to deliver on the overall digital strategy. Planning, implementing and executing programmes to develop existing and implement new digital platforms.

Description

Digital Programme Manager

  • Defining and delivering large scale digital programmes
  • Ownership of RFP processes to identify and select digital platforms and partners
  • Manage the delivery of programme milestones, costs and resources
  • Managing, monitoring and reporting on all activities of project teams
  • Manage the programme budget
  • Working with the PMO to ensure appropriate governance and controls are in place and review processes are followed
  • Tracking project performance and providing status reports to the PMO, Sponsor and Project Board and all relevant stakeholders.
  • Acting as the main interface for internal stakeholders and customers

    Profile

    Digital Programme Manager

    • Extensive experience of managing multiple projects end to end in a digital environment
    • Experience of involvement in digital transformation
    • Substantial programme and project management experience on large scale
    • Experience of leading on the full project lifecycle
    • Experience selecting and implementing LMS/ assessment platforms and web-based development
    • Experience of working with non-technical and technical staff to gain an understanding of business problems and define solutions
    • Good understanding of the software development process
    • Experience of preparing business cases and financial proposals
    • The ability to effectively manage suppliers and other third parties
    • Knowledge of UX, CX, Customer journey mapping / re-engineering
    • Strong consulting, communication and facilitation skills
    • A technical background with knowledge of operating systems/ platforms and web-based technologies
