Job Title: Site Engineer
Location: Guildford
Project: Thames Water Scheme
Contract Duration: 3 Weeks (Potential Extension)
Rate: £330-£350 per day (Outside IR35)
Start Date: 30th March

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support a Thames Water project based in Guildford. This is a short-term contract with an immediate start, offering competitive day rates and the potential for extension based on performance and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out accurate setting out for construction works
• Supervising and recording trial holes
• Managing and maintaining QA documentation in line with project standards
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design specifications and health & safety requirements
• Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and project management

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on water/utilities projects
• Valid Thames Water Passport (essential)
• Strong setting out skills using relevant equipment (e.g., GPS, Total Station)
• Experience with QA documentation and reporting
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• CSCS card (required)
