Job Description:
Trident Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a busy Therapies Surgery department on a locum basis. The successful candidate will manage a complex caseload and support patient flow across DMOPS wards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a complex Occupational Therapy caseload on DMOPS wards
• Support patient flow and contribute to efficient ward processes
Lead and participate in parallel discharge planning
• Provide supervision and support to Junior Occupational Therapists
Requirements:
• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
• Previous Band 6 experience, or a strong Band 5 ready to progress within the NHS
• Experience with complex surgical caseloads
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills • Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
