Salary: £50000 - £55000/annum

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected manufacturing client based in Mildenhall, Suffolk, who are seeking a Quality Manager with proven experience in a similar role. This is an exciting opportunity for a quality professional to take full ownership of the company's quality systems and processes, reporting directly to the board and leading all quality-related activities across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead on all internal and external quality issues

* Manage and develop the quality team

* Act as the primary liaison between the business and its customers for quality and compliance matters

* Analyse and monitor customer performance metrics and implement continuous improvement measures

* Oversee and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards, including audits and additional accreditations

* Facilitate monthly quality meetings and workshops to promote quality culture throughout the business

* Lead customer audits and site visits

* Travel to customer sites for meetings and reviews as required

* Support with any other duties as directed by senior management

Experience & Skills Required:

* Previous experience as a Quality Manager, ideally within a manufacturing environment

* Background in fabrication/manufacturing

* Experience in managing and motivating a small team

* In-depth knowledge of ISO9001 processes and requirements

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find effective solutions in a live production setting

* Experience using quality tools and methodologies for root cause analysis and preventative action

* Ability to communicate technical issues professionally in a commercial context

* Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings

* Proficient with MS Office and open to learning new systems

* Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload

* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when needed

* Project management experience (desirable)
