Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce long shaft components (up to 10 meters in length)

Machine components to tight tolerances, ensuring high levels of accuracy and quality

*

Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications

*

Use steady rests to support and stabilize long shafts during machining

*

Carry out in-process inspections using ultrasonic wall thickness gauges

*

Work collaboratively with the production team to meet job deadlines and optimize workflow

*

Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC machinery

*

Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company procedures

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in CNC turning, specifically with long shaft work

Strong knowledge of machining tolerances and measuring equipment

*

Confident in using steady rests and ultrasonic thickness gauges

*

Ability to interpret complex technical drawings

*

Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
