Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
Contract: Full-time, Temporary position
A well-established distribution company specialising in plants and pots is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced but supportive environment, supplying high-quality products to commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently (Counterbalance/Reach, depending on site)
- Picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management
- Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Supporting general warehouse duties as required
Requirements
- Valid and in-date forklift licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
- Good attention to detail, particularly when picking and packing orders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and reliability
