Affinity Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to join one of our vibrant primary schools in the Yate area. This is a full-time, annual position commencing after October.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role:

* Support teaching staff in delivering the curriculum effectively.
* Work under the guidance of the class teacher to carry out targeted activities that meet pupils' educational and developmental needs.
* Assist in monitoring and evaluating pupil progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
* Help organise and maintain classroom resources and learning materials.

Essential Requirements:

* A good standard of education (minimum 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above)
* Valid Enhanced DBS certificate
* Right to work in the UK
* A positive, proactive attitude

Desirables:

* Experience working with children (not necessarily in a school setting)
* Relevant qualifications such as NVQ for Teaching Assistants or First Aid certification
