Salary: £40000 - £45000/annum + bonus + car/allowance + package

TSR are currently recruiting for one of the country's most successful housing developers who are looking to recruit an organised and driven Inspector for their Basingstoke office.

They are a multi awarded winning business with a reputation for providing fantastic training, development and progression. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has a keen focus on face-to-face customer service and experience with a keen eye for problem solving, strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.

As the Inspector, you will be the customer's key point of contact from the moment they are introduced to their home onwards, managing the customer relationship, ensuring quick and effective resolutions to defects in order to meet and exceed their expectations.

Inspector Key Duties:
• To carry out quality control inspections of multiple new homes across dedicated sites within the region in accordance with the main purpose of the role • Visit and liaise with customers and site teams to ensure completion of agreed defects, and identifying recurring defects and material issues and feedback to line manager to include proposed solutions • To record the results of these inspections and report back to stakeholders on outcomes • Attending & chairing (as required) weekly sales and construction meetings • Regular site visits to carry out spot checks of the properties in build to inspect the quality of construction, to review build progress and to maintain good working relationships • Attending NHBC Claim Investigations meetings as and when required • Develop constructive relationships with site teams, sales teams, contractors and internal departments and ensure all communication is updated onto the CRM system • Manage own diary to ensure all properties are inspected in line with predicted completion dates

The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience within the house-building industry
Good knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC Standards, and Building Control
The ability to build rapport and convey complex technical information to site personnel clearly and concisely
To be insightful, persuasive, and diplomatic, with strong people skills
To be an effective communicator face to face, in workshops, in written reports and through presentations
Preferable skills with Microsoft Excel
Highly organised and able to prioritise a demanding workload
Good organisation and experience with multi-tasking, and time management
