The Company
Our client, a main building contractor, is seeking an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their team who deliver multi-million-pound schemes in some of the most sought-after parts of London. This exclusive project is a high-end residential development.

The successful candidate will be joining a company that has demonstrated excellent longevity in the industry and growth over the last 5 years. Our client specialises in super prime residential developments, galleries, and commercial projects, representing high-net-worth clients and creating some of the most luxurious spaces in the market.
  
Main Responsibilities as the Quantity Surveyor:

Manage the quantity surveying responsibilities across selected projects, ensuring accurate cost control and commercial management.
Provide cost referencing and monthly reports to senior management
Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to optimise value and ensure budget adherence.
Support procurement, contract administration, and risk management processes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction costs, especially related to heritage and listed building projects.
Liaise regularly with clients and stakeholders to meet commercial and contractual requirements. Education / Experience Needed for the Quantity Surveyor:

Degree, HNC or HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related discipline is essential.
Proven experience in quantity surveying within refurbishment, heritage, and listed building projects.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and cost controls effectively.
Excellent communication and reporting skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
Demonstrated longevity and reliability in previous roles.
Organised with excellent attention to detail.
