A growing UK-based aerospace company is seeking a Product Quality Assurance Engineer to support quality compliance across cutting-edge rocket engine and propulsion programmes. Working as part of a dynamic Quality & Product Assurance team, you'll help ensure products meet the highest standards across their full lifecycle from design and build to test and delivery.

This hands-on engineering role is ideal for someone with experience in quality or product assurance, preferably within aerospace, defence, or other regulated engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in customer and supplier milestone reviews (MPCB, MRR, TRR, DRB)
Support generation and maintenance of product assurance (PA) documentation in line with ECSS and contractual requirements.
Interpret and flow down PA requirements to suppliers; assess supplier compliance
Monitor product quality during manufacturing and testing phases
Assist with compiling End Item Data Packs (EIDPs) and resolving Review Item Discrepancies (RIDs)
Support non-conformance management and root cause investigations
Engage in internal and supplier audits (AS9100/ISO9001)Product Assurance Engineer
Requirements:

Degree relevant engineering discipline.
Experience in a Quality or Product Assurance role within aerospace, defence, or similarly regulated industries
Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO9001 quality standards
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office and document management systemsDesirable:

Experience with ECSS standards, EEE components, or materials/process qualification.
