Full-Time | Temp to Perm/Permanent | Weekend Work Required?About The CompanyMy clients establishment is a vibrant organic café, deli, and market garden. They're a social enterprise working to build an inclusive and meaningful environment for adults with support needs, while championing local, seasonal, and organic produce much of it grown right here on their farm.?The RoleThey are looking for a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead their kitchen operations. This is a key leadership role combining culinary skill, organisational management, and community values. You’ll work closely with the charity and wider team to ensure our food offering reflects our farm-grown produce, supports sustainability, and creates a welcoming space for all.?Responsibilities -?? Menu Planning – Collaborate with the senior management team  to create seasonal menus that hero our farm-grown meat and vegetables?? Stock Management – Take ownership of café, deli, and event stock ordering and rotation as well as keeping to budgets?? Costing & Margins – Accurately cost dishes to maintain sustainability and affordability?? Team Leadership – Train, support, and supervise a diverse team, including adults with varying support needs?? Rotas & Scheduling – Manage rotas to ensure smooth kitchen operation?? Wastage Control – Monitor and minimise food waste across all areas?? Deli Oversight – Ensure our deli is well-stocked with fresh, appealing produce?? Event Support – Plan and deliver catering support for seasonal and community events?Requirements -? Previous kitchen leadership experience (Head Chef or Kitchen Manager level)? Strong knowledge of seasonal and sustainable food practices? Organised, calm under pressure, and a natural problem solver?
