Sharp Consultancy are working with a rapidly growing business based in Barnsley that are looking for an Assistant Group Finance Manager to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.

The main duties of this role will include:

Managing the day to day operations of the transactional finance team.

*

Ensuring clarity in roles and achievement of KPI's.

*

Oversee the integrity of the sales ledger, purchase ledger and payroll date across all systems.

*

Process improvements by regularly reviewing finance systems and process.

*

Maintain and manage IT systems within the finance department.

*

Prepare and present monthly financial reports.

*

Reconciliation of invoicing accounts.

*

Ensure sales, costs and payroll are properly handled.

Skills and experience required:

*

Minimum 2 years experience in a finance department.

*

Knowledge of Sage50 Accounts and Payroll.

*

Ability to manage, motivate and influence team members.

*

Excellent communication skills.

*

Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.

What's on offer:

£30,000 - £35,000.
