Location: Ilford
Pay: £13.50 per hour £50 per sleep-in
Contract: Full-time, shift work including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
About the RoleWe are looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join a children’s residential home in Ilford. You’ll be part of a supportive team providing care, stability, and guidance to young people who may have faced challenges or trauma.
This role is about making a real difference – helping young people feel safe, supported, and empowered to achieve brighter futures.
Key Responsibilities- Providing day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people
- Acting as a positive role model and promoting independence
- Supporting education, health needs, and community involvement
- Working as part of a team to ensure the home runs smoothly
- Carrying out shift duties, including sleep-ins
What We’re Looking For- Compassionate, patient, and resilient individuals
- Ability to build positive relationships with young people
- Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential – full training provided
- A commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people
